Your engine does not have a choke. Newer engines don't use a choke. The primer puts the gasoline into the carburetor to start the engine.Your air cleaner filter should not be dirty after 2 uses, but check it and look for anything that would restrict air flow. Run the engine a few minutes with the filter removed and see if it works ok.Rotate the throttle plate so it stretches the spring fully. Release and see if the linkage goes back fully or pauses or stops. Something might have gotten bent in the carburetor linkage to cause the problem.If you don't find anything you need to take the lawnmower in for repair or exchange it.
